Kokan Mladenovic was born in Nis, Serbia, in 1970. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 1995, at the Department of eatre and Radio Directing, in the class of Miroslav Be- lovic and Nikola Jevtic. He is currently preparing his dissertation thesis at the Doctoral Art Studies Dramatic and Audio-visual arts at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade under the mentorship of Svetozar Rapajic with the thesis “Julius Caesar” by William Shakespeare – in the arena of contempo- rary history”. He directed in the theatres of Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. He was the Art Manager of the “Dadov” eatre, permanent director and the Art Manager of the National eatre in Sombor, the Drama Manager in the National eatre in Belgrade and the Atelje 212 General manager in Belgrade. His theatre plays won prizes and awards at all professional theatre festivals in Serbia, as well as at the international festivals in Hungary, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.
